This Dedham Art Society’s First Plein Air Meetup of the Year 🎨🌿

Despite the grey skies, our first plein air outing of the year was a creative success! Members gathered at 10am at the beautiful Fingringhoe Wick Nature Reserve, with inspiring views over the River Colne and Alresford Creek.

Equipped with path maps and plenty of enthusiasm, we ventured out to find our own unique inspiration among the reserve’s stunning landscapes. The artwork produced was impressive, showcasing a variety of styles and approaches that reflected each member’s unique perspective.

After a productive morning, we reconvened at the café to warm up and chat about our art, our trusty equipment, and even share tips on the best cold-weather gear! Here’s to more inspiring meetups this year! 🖌️✨
