Thursday 22nd August 2024 Painting outside, - Dedham Vale Vinyard
🌿 The Dedham Art Society had a fantastic day at Dedham Vale Vineyard for our final full-day summer outing! With a great turnout of members meeting at 10am, the owners were kind enough to allow us the use of one of their beautifully decorated cabins, complete with a full-size jukebox and a stunning view over the lake.
🍇 Despite the occasional gusts of wind across the fields, our members were undeterred, capturing the stunning scenery of the 40-acre vineyard, surrounded by vines, woods, and pastures on the edge of the Dedham Vale - a true area of outstanding natural beauty.
🎨 Throughout the day our members created a wonderful variety of art, in many mediums, each highlighting the different areas of the vineyard. It’s always enjoyable seeing our members unique take on what they observe. Hopefully you’ll enjoy them too!
We’d like to say a huge thank you to Dedham Vale Vineyard for hosting us, and a special thanks to our member Mary Mudd, one of the pioneers of the English wine industry, who planted Dedham Vale Vineyard in 1990, for making this wonderful day possible.
