DAS AGM 13th March 2025

This was Dedham Art Society AGM 2025

The meeting was well attended, with over 20 members present. Soft drinks and sherry were there to welcome us all.

The AGM kicked off with the grand viewing of the Klimt collaboration work of art—it looks fabulous!

Hosted by the committee, it was good to see membership numbers continue to grow, with the society aiming for 65 members.

The chairman’s report highlighted some great achievements, such as the growing attendance at the Saturday plein air mornings, our first post-COVID exhibition at St. Mary’s Church—which was extremely successful—and the money raised through members’ sales going to East Anglia Children’s Hospices, our nominated charity.

We had a good discussion covering next year’s art workshops and gathered ideas for artists we would like to invite.

To finish off, a bag of art goodies donated by Soraya French, the artist, was raffled off and shared between two lucky winners.
